Self Checkouts

I would like to know why a lot of stupid people use the self check outs at stores. Most of them can’t work them and ask others for help. Some fight the machine because it kept a penny. I had a lady in front of me that was scanning tuna, the store was immensely busy. And this lady had like forty cans of tuna and she wanted to do them one at a time, so I offered to show her about pushing the number of items in and not having to scan each one. She said that I was just a stupid kid and to just stand their and mind my own business. I ended up going to a different lane and sat by the door to watch the stupidity of some people. I left after about fifteen minutes since when she would scan a single can the machine would tell her to wait for assistance. Needless to say when they were trying to close the store she was still there scanning her food.
This one I don’t mind so much cause I think I would raise hell too. There was this older gentleman about seventy something. And he swore the machine took two one hundred dollar bills. Now I was scanning my stuff into the machine that he said took the money. I had a whole cart full and he wanted me to stop and them check the machine. Well I thought I would be nice and let them look for his money. Well they took the cash out and it took four people to go through it to tell the man it wasn’t there. Well you know they have to empty those things out and well he had lost his money the day before. I got to finish my scanning and I thought that it was sad that this man was out that much money. I would have thought they could of asked the people that count it, but someone probably just saw them stuck together and felt like it was a good day. Or maybe they didn’t notice them stuck.
