What Is In Our Future

Hey where is the flying cars, we should be living in space or our own spaceships. This is kind of far subject then from what I usually talk about. But what do you expect of our future. In the year 2056 how much do you think the world will really change if the youth don’t put us into war and we all die? But how about these to work on;

1: Transporters – to transport to different locations, best for people that have a fear of heights or that don’t like to fly for hours.

2. Laser guns -- save on bullets and if someone gets wounded you don’t have to dig through them to find the fragmented bullet.

3. Self Making Refrigerator – A refrigerator that makes you sandwiches, milkshake, salad or that special sundae that just melts your cares away. The only thing is that you stock it with what you would like made. Program into it how you want things made.

4. Car That Runs On Water – at least we have enough of that and shouldn’t cost as much.

5. Debt Card Ring – I don’t like the thought of scanning my thumb but maybe a small ring that has like a barcode on the bottom. But not a goofy looking ring fashionable at least.

6. Cure – Hopefully they will have cures for many things and I hope cancer is one of them.

7. Robot Maid – I would like some help with my house cleaning. I would want a good job done. If you have a robot then I think they would be able to see all the dirt and grim better then I, maybe even clean better. Plus it would give me more free time to be with kids. I would just like my own little Rosie from the Jetsons.

8. A Beautiful Lawn – Grass that gets to a certain height and stops growing. No more mowing or weed eating.

9. Combined Washer and Dryer – To have just one big thing instead of two. That washes and dries your clothes.

10. A Self Making Bed – For those busy days when you don’t have time or just too lazy. A wonderful bed that makes itself up just for you.

This is just a few things I have thought up and I may try and later think up some more. But what would you like for our future?

OH!! One more a machine of some sort like sunglasses but with ear pieces that translate what woman say to what woman are really saying. There should be some made for the women also.

Let me think up another one for nine since silly me it already exists . . . hmmm lets see. How about a diet that works :-) I'm kidding . . . ummmm I know a carpet that absorbs the stain and automaticly disappers. Or a carpet that has a remote to change its color. Now if they have that I am selling my car to get it.

Hey, the self-making bed sounds good.If it changed its own sheets it'd be a bonus!

You can already get a washer and dryer in one, woman! So one of your dreams came true :). A friend of mine in Sydney had one around 12 years ago - but hers was from Germany where she used to live. (They're way ahead with things like that over there). They've been out over here for some time so I bet they are where you are, too - but you have just been too busy to investigate :).

1. Teleportation

This is being worked on by many scientists. They are past it just being a dream stage as they are able to now teleport quantum states and photons.

2. Laser guns

We have them but its just too hard to power a portable one at the moment. As batteries improve (due to the high demand for hybrid cars) this may eventually become a reality.

6. Cancer cure

From wikipedia
Because "cancer" refers to a class of diseases, it is unlikely that there will ever be a single "cure for cancer" any more than there will be a single treatment for all infectious diseases.

The NCI (National Cancer Institute) spends about 4 BILLION dollars every year on cancer research.

10. Automatic Bedmaker

"I'm nervous because I will be on TV," said 9-year-old Henry, a third-grader whose automatic bedmaker had the covers attached to strings so that when he wound a crank at the foot of the bed the strings pulled them neatly into place.

Well I do apologize I didn't know so much was already made, I guess that just shows how much I know about whats going on today. I do like the growing limbs, but for it to be within a week no more then a month that would be cool. But can you imagin watching it grow.

I will try and think up more great things that already exists :-D.
